Arus

Turn everyday WhatsApp messages into a clearer picture of your money.

Arus website preview

THE CONTEXT

What the work connects.

Small purchases and income are easy to forget when recording them means opening another app. Arus starts in WhatsApp, where a short message can become a useful financial record.

Built for
People who want to record everyday money movements through WhatsApp
My contribution
I built the WhatsApp transaction workflow, AI-assisted receipt reading, and a private web dashboard for reviewing cash flow, categories, and transaction history.

HOW IT WORKS

From one step to the next.

  1. 01

    Send

Describe a transaction or share a receipt

  2. 02

    Record

Save clear details and resolve questions

  3. 03

    Correct

Reply to a saved transaction when needed

  4. 04

    Review

Ask for a report or open the private dashboard

Clear new transactions are saved with their details and category; uncertain information prompts a question. Users can correct a saved entry by replying to its acknowledgement, ask for a report in chat, or review records and export CSV from the dashboard. Each invited account has its own financial records.

THE RESULT

A working path through the task.

Arus connects daily messages to an organized personal ledger and reports calculated from saved transactions. The alpha website explains the workflow, invitation-based access, and independent VPS deployment. The preview shown here is the public landing page.
